Many of Ken’s bills have become law including legislations that protects against identity theft, a simplified collection process of oil and gas royalties, penalties for desecration of national cemeteries, establishing the Medal of Honor Memorial at Riverside National Cemetery; and more.
Calvert earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University. After graduation, he ran the family’s restaurant in Corona, and then entered the real estate industry running Ken Calvert Real Properties until he was elected to Congress.
