With Guest Speakers
Congressman Ken Calvert
Congressman Ken Calvert is a life-long resident of Riverside County, where he has represented the 42 nd Congressional District for 33 years. He is one of the most senior members in the California Delegation. Ken is the ranking member of the Defense Subcommittee; and will be the Chairman of that Committee if re-elected in November. This is a very important position. Nancy Pelosi does not want that to happen, and has poured tons of $$ into his opponent’s campaign.
With re-districting the 42 nd Congressional District now includes parts of Riverside County, Norco, Corona, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Canyon Lake, Menifee, Murrieta and Temecula.
Working for a secure border, Ken has worked to fix the broken system by requiring use of E-Verify by employers and restoring the rule of law. Ken is pro-veteran, pro- police and pro-life.
Calvert is a graduate of Cal State San Diego with a degree in Economics. He has been an active community leader in the Corona Chamber of Commerce, the Corona Rotary, and the Corona-Norco Family YMCA.
Please plan to attend and meet the ranking Republican in the California Congressional Delegation.
and
Evan Trubee
Evan Trubee is a Candidate for Palm Desert City Council, and has lived in the desert for almost 30 years after migrating from New Jersey. He is a small business owner, (Big Wheel Tours) and active in the Palm Desert and Coachella Valley business communities. His wife is an elementary school teacher in Desert Sands Unified School District. They have 3 children. He serves on the Board of Palm Springs Hospitality Association, is a member of Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce, the Palm Desert Resource Preservation and Enhancement Committee, and the Public Safely Commission. Evan’s goal is to enhance the economic resilience of Palm Desert.

Ken Ammann is a candidate for Rancho Mirage City Council. He is dedicated to helping local business thrive in a manner that reflects and enhances the living standards in the Valley. Currently he is the principal at Slalom Build, a global technology consulting firm. Over the past 25 years Ken has been a small business owner, a government contractor, and a strategic innovator for various Fortune 500 clients throughout the world.
Ken desires to serve on the Rancho Mirage City Council to bring his extensive experience in government, technology, and data-driven oversight to ensure successful and intentional managed growth without sacrificing quality-of-life for residents, the environment, and the community.
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Ken earned two bachelor’s degrees in Economics and in East Asian Studies. Ken is the “other” Ken Ammann, not the basketball coach! Ken is a certified rescue diver, an avid sailor, an adventurous traveler, and a golfer. He and his wife, Monica, live with their 23-pound Tuxedo cat – Romeo.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Dear Members:
Freedom has always required effort and our country is calling us to be true to her! We all know that this Administration is doing great harm to all of us. They want to reduce, if not eliminate, our freedom! As we approach this critical mid-term election, it is important to remind your family, friends and neighbors to vote in person at the polls on November 8 - if at all possible. Voting in person on election day is much safer than mailing in or even putting your mail-in ballot in a local drop box -- while convenient these approaches have been proven to be open to fraud. Of course, the precinct voting machines are not trustworthy either. Your vote needs to be counted. Mail-in ballots need to be taken to the precinct, filled in there and dropped in the box. No need to use the envelope. However, if you are taking someone’s ballot to the precinct, please be sure to have them sign on the envelope, which gives you permission to drop off their ballot at the precinct. Otherwise, it will not be counted. Congress is waiting for us. Let’s take it!
Patricia Pyle,
President
NOTE: Have been advised of changes to voting in person: take mail in ballot to precinct with SURRENDER written on both envelope and ballot, tear in half and give to official. Get new paper ballot, complete and drop in box at precinct.
