Chad Bianco

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco is the elected Sheriff, Coroner, and Public Administrator of Riverside County. He is a twenty-five-year veteran of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, and serves as the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the County.

Riverside County was created from sections of San Bernardino and San Diego Counties in 1893. It was a one-man department. Today, the Department is responsible for 7,300 square miles which extends over 200 miles in length and approximately 50 miles in width. Riverside County is the fourth largest county in the State of California, with more than 2.4 million population in 2019. With a staff of over 4,000 dedicated men and women, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is now the second-largest Sheriff’s Department within the State of California.

Riverside is California’s second largest Sheriff’s Department, and most progressive law enforcement agencies in the nation, supervising more than 3,600 personnel.

Sheriff Bianco joined the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department in 1993. He began his career in Corrections at the Robert Presley Detention Center, and spent time working patrol and narcotics in the City of Lake Elsinore. Bianco held supervisory and management positions at the Jurupa Valley Station, Moreno Valley Police Department, the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility, and the Hemet Station. Chad also served administrative assignments in Internal Affairs, and Corrections Administration and Planning.

Chad Bianco, and his wife Denise, live in the Woodcrest area of Riverside. He believes in service above self, and hopes that his priorities of God, family, and service provide meaningful guidance and direction to the Sheriff’s Department.

With BLM, riots and demonstrations rampant in our state, Sheriff Bianco will provide interesting insights into law enforcement. You won’t want to miss a ‘from the horse’s mouth’ assessment of what is happening with police efforts to maintain law, order and security in California. Plan to come, and bring a friend.

President's Message

September, 2020
Dear Members and Friends:

IT’S GOOD NEWS & BAD NEWS……

The good news is that Election Day is passed and we are no longer getting the fundraising phone calls.  The bad news is we are now in the throws of a contested election and rightfully so.   Lawsuits are being filed and recounts are being held.  Will it change the outcome from a Biden win?  We don’t know – it’s truly a “wait and see”.

Fortunately, a few things are quite clear.  This election, despite the best efforts of biased pollsters and an unabashedly slanted media, was not the Blue Wave that they had touted.  There were no “Biden Coat Tails’, in fact quite the opposite.  As of today the Democrats lost seven (7) seats in the House and the Republicans still retain control of the Senate.  Despite the millions and millions of Democrat dollars that were spent to replace Republicans, it didn’t work.  Sorry Mr. Bloomberg!

Another fact has become glaringly clear.  Democrats are no longer the political party of the working man and middle class.  They are now, the party of Wall Street Money, the Main Stream Media, Social Technology and the Coastal Elite.  Republicans have, thanks to Donald Trump, become the populist party including Latinos and African Americans.  President Trump has pitched a big tent that has attracted some groups that have traditionally voted for Democrats.  We can only pray that the Republican Party-through each of us-continues to be inclusive.  It will serve us well.

The really good news is that we may be down but not out.  We have a lot of work to do in California, as we do not want to continue to live in a Draconian one party State. Let’s be optimistic and forge ahead.

Please join us on Wednesday, November 18th at the Classic Club.  It’s been a while and being with like-minded people is always a joy.

Be Bold!

Please Help a Marine Child to Have a
Merry Christmas and a
Happy Holiday

Rancho Mirage Republican Women assists Marine families during the holidays with Walmart Gift Cards and gifts of toys.

At the December 16 th luncheon Marines will join us and haul the toys back to the 29 Palms ASYMCA Headquarters Holiday Party. For some families the gift card and toy from us are the only gift the
child receives.

We could not have the November Fundraising Luncheon with vendors, due to the Corona-19 restrictions. However, raising money for Walmart Gift Cards remains a worthy endeavor.

ASYMCA has authorized a special way for us to donate and have our donations be tax deductible this year. $100 will buy 4 gift cards. Any amount from $25 to $500 or more will be greatly appreciated for the objective of giving Marine families and children a cheerful Christmas/Hanukah Holiday. The Walmart Gift Card presentation will take place at our December Luncheon.

Write a check payable to ASYMCA-29 Palms
Mail it to: Rancho Mirage Republican Women - P.O. Box 152 – Rancho Mirage, Ca. 92270

ASYMCA has a free food pantry to ensure that military families never go hungry, by providing staples and bread. It is sad that such is needed.

Thank you and God Bless,

Darlene Casella

ASYMCA is a 501C3 you will receive a receipt with your name and amount of your donation for tax purposes.

Your Sunshine Chairman is requesting that you keep her informed of any and all occasions that need to be acknowledged by a card. Such things as births, deaths, marriages, health issues, happy and sad, all deserve recognition. If I don't hear from you, someone who could use a bit of cheering up would be overlooked. Let's don't let that happen.
